Getting Started

PicPerf’s goal is to make upgrading your site’s image performance really easy. No messing with DNS, moving your images anywhere, or prepping them in any way. Just sign up for an account and prefix your site’s image URLs. Here are those steps in a little more detail:

Step #1: Create an Account

Create an account here. No card is required. Every new account comes with a 14-day free trial.

Step #2: Set Your Domain(s)

Set the domain from where you normally serve images. For example, if my image usually lives at, your domain would be Some websites serve from multiple domains. That’s fine — add them all. If you don’t, optimization requests will be ignored, and you’ll be served the original, unoptimized version.

Step #3: Prefix Your URLs

For each image, stick at the beginning. For example, becomes

About the Trial

When you first sign up, you’ll be registered for a 14-day trial of PicPerf. Try it out on a few of your images to see how it’ll work. When you’re ready, click “Upgrade Subscription” to switch to the ongoing plan.
