Getting Started

PicPerf’s aim is to make improving your website’s image performance really easy. Depending on your needs, there are two approaches you can take. But before you can choose, you’ll need to create an account.

Create an account by using the table below. Every new account comes with a 14-day free trial. Beyond that, the first 500 unique images will be included in your fixed, monthly rate.

After signing up, you’ll be sent to a page asking you to reset your password (it’ll be sent to your email in case it’s needed too).

reset password

After resetting your password, you’ll be sent to the PicPerf admin.

There are two approaches to use PicPerf. After your account is set up, you’ll be prompted to begin using (at least) one:

choose implementation path

Let PicPerf proxy your images.

Use this approach if your images are already hosted somewhere and you don’t want to move them. You’ll just need to prefix your existing URLs with https://picperf.io (or choose an integration to do it for you).

Let PicPerf host your images.

Pick this path if you don’t want to mess with hosting images yourself. Upload them to PicPerf, and use the generated URL directly on your website.

When you first sign up, you’ll be registered for a 14-day trial of PicPerf. Try it out on a few of your images to see how it’ll work. If you’re an agency or anyone else who needs a particular type of plan, just get in touch and we’ll craft something a little more unique.
